Sherry_Color (4)Licensed in Texas and Illinois, Keith Sherry is a seasoned attorney with over 16 years of legal experience in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions and related business matters. Through Sherry Law Ltd., Mr. Sherry represents clients in acquisitions, dispositions and development projects involving office, retail, industrial and special use property types. His law practice also includes representing landlords and tenants in lease negotiations and borrowers in new loan originations, loan assumptions and loan workouts.    

Before establishing Sherry Law Ltd., Mr. Sherry was the General Counsel of Bradford Allen Realty Services, a vertically integrated commercial real estate company with diverse business lines including brokerage, acquisitions, and asset and property management. As General Counsel, Mr. Sherry handled the company’s demanding legal needs, which included real estate and business transactional work and a wide array of general contract matters. Serving in the role of General Counsel, he developed and maintained a holistic approach to Bradford Allen’s legal affairs and risk management/compliance programs.

Before joining Bradford Allen, Mr. Sherry was the General Counsel of Epic Savage Realty Partners, a boutique commercial real estate brokerage and investment firm. In this position, Mr. Sherry worked on a variety of business and commercial real estate matters, representing the many Epic Savage sponsored syndicated partnerships which owned commercial real estate throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.

For many years, Mr. Sherry provided his legal services to Bradford Allen and Epic Savage through Sherry Law Ltd.’s predecessor, Sherry Law Partners, Ltd.

Mr. Sherry started his legal career as an associate with the Chicago law firm of Altheimer & Gray.

He received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the John Marshall Law Review, and he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
